Virtual Office Assistant
Starting with 5-10 hrs per week with an opportunity to grow into more hours and more responsibility over time.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project management (tracking timetables, tasks, and following up with volunteers and other team members).
- Proofreading and editing.
- Website editing and keeping all information up to date (easy to learn).
- Basic video editing and production.
- Managing communications on social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, etc.).
- Tracking and following up on social media and email messages.
- Design and manage email newsletters, onboarding campaigns, and lists.
- Organize and manage Zoom and other online events (registration, tracking, video recording, and filing).
- Basic bookkeeping and digital filing skills.
- Execute a variety of other organizational tasks as needed.
- Strategize how to make everything run more smoothly and figure out how to make it happen, and then do it.
- Anticipate needs before they arise and seek to pre-meet them.
MUST HAVE:
- Social media fluency
- Computer skills (Word, Excel, Google Drive, Squarespace, Mailchimp)
- Typing, spelling, and grammar editing skills
- Client relations/customer service experience
- Time management skills

- Relevant experience (admin, bookkeeping, filing, previous assistant experience, project management, etc.)

SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION:
- 5-10hrs per week to start (exact days are negotiable).
- Starting with $18/hr during the first 2 months, after that up to $20-25/hr, based on qualifications.
- Pay is negotiable based on experience.
